Quality Testing
Gibco™ Trypsin Solution has been tested for pH, osmolarity, sterility and performance. In addition, before production, raw materials are verified by electron beam irradiation and tested for endotoxin, PPV, PCV 1/2, mycoplasma, bacteria, fungi and virus contamination, as well as multiple activity assays, ash analysis and moisture analysis.

Traceability Records
We provide detailed records to meet your regulatory needs. Trypsin information provided by Gibco™ includes lot traceability, animal certificate of origin, lot analysis, irradiation certificate, virus inactivation summary, and supply chain transparency.

cGMP Manufacturing and Quality System

Gibco™ Trypsin is manufactured in a cGMP compliant facility located on Grand Isle, New York. The facility is an FDA registered medical device manufacturer and is ISO 13485 certified. To ensure supply chain continuity, an equivalent Gibco™ trypsin solution (25300-096) produced at our Scottish facility is also available. The latter is also a medical device manufacturer registered with the FDA and complies with the ISO 13485 standard.
